MoveManager can send and receive 'messages' via XML. These can be simple status updates or details of a complete shipment booking.

One MoveManager system can easily communicate with another MoveManager system in this way.

To facilitate communication with other systems, we use another of our products, Move-commerce, as a 'communications centre'.

Move-commerce can also communicate via XML and CSV. Messages can be distributed to multiple recipients - for example, a Destination Agent could update the delivery date of a shipment. This can then be transmitted electronically to the Client, the Corporate Account, the Booking party and the Origin agent.

Move-commerce provides a comprehensive tracking facility for accounts and individuals to check the status of their shipments. The difference between Move-commerce and other tracking systems is that Move-commerce is designed to be updated by multiple parties and to provide tracking facilities for multiple parties.
