To achieve this, MoveManager provides a common base of functionality but allows users to build layers of company-specific business rules on this base.

This provides you with the stability of proven processes while allowing you the freedom to 'tailor' the system to your own requirements.

A key element in MoveManager is the Job Type definition. You provide the business rules, based on your 'product lines', for costing, progressing and documenting.

All costs elements can be defined, along with the calculations that are used.

Charging mechanisms are also definable - base them on Tariffs, cost plus, or other calculations.

You define which services are provided by each Job Type and which Events are to be tracked, both internally and externally.

You can design your own documents and decide when your users will be prompted to print them.

Security is fully definable - you can create your own 'menus', disallow users from accessing any function on any page and provide your users with only the options they want, and in the language they prefer.

A full set of 'System Parameters' are also provided to allow you to fine tune the system - everything from the default start time of diaries to the number of options displayed on a page.

We feel the system is pretty comprehensive, but if we've left anything out, you can define your own fields in any of the major sections - Corporate Accounts, Contacts, Inquiries, Quotes and Jobs.
